Think about it … North Carolina has no problems or no controversy like other states do. Everyone is friendly here and we have the mountains and the beach. We also have some of the best universities in the country including NC state, UNC and Duke.

Raleigh, Cary and Chapel Hill are some of the best areas to live in the country. Our cities have low crime rates, nice people and a strong ecnonmy. In Raleigh we have year round education in the public school systems making the education system one of the best in the nation.

We ARE the best state in this country, and if you can’t admit that. … your just jealous. North Carolina is the best state in the nation, so please … stop being so jealous.

I understand that they are two different systems. But what distinguishes the two? Is there a distinguishing factor other than that they are simply administered under separate jurisdictions? Even though the University of [State] system is usually larger, that is not always the case. Do all of the University of [State] systems have something in common, and do all the State University systems have something in common?
